Currently, I work as a Senior Specialist Scientist at the Mental health, Alcohol, Substance use & Tobacco Research Unit of the South African Medical Research Council.

I’m a National Research Foundation (NRF) C2 rated researcher and a registered Research Psychologist. I hold two honorary Associate Professor positions at the Schools of Public Health Medicine, University of KwaZulu-Natal and the University of Cape Town. I hold a PhD in Psychology and Health Promotion from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban
